Today I discovered some new challenges and got to play in some old favorites so it is a good day. To top it all off, my Pop is going to get to eat hotdogs and potato salad or whatever he wants today. After several months of being on a feeding tube, getting to chew and eat real food is a true freedom to celebrate.
If you are interested in the challenges I entered - it is record for me! Check out my blog at:

Nancy, this is sooooo fun and fantastic!! What a great image (who'd want to face that guy--would you just look at those big strong hairy pipes!! Love your use of the pennant behind him and all those patriotic colors and papers, plus some wonderful stitching be it faux or not So glad your dad will get a special celebration of his own.

Nancy, this is the most awesome card! I am so glad you had fun rejoining us after you have been away....our lives send us in different directions and we just have to go with the flow. This card just rocks...the wonderful deep dark, rich masculine colors.....its awesome! Congrats on this big stepping stone for your pop.....what a wonderful thing for him and for you.....
Not sure if this is going to Troy or your pop but I gotta tell you, whomever receives it is gonna be so touched...that sentiment is awesome and equally so, the card as well.

So glad Pop's got to eat some real food for a change. It is going to taste so good to him!!!! Yay for Pop!!! When I looked at this I started singing Take me out to the Ball game in my head. But then I got a good look at those hairy arms and bust out laughing. Our days have been filled with baseball games. We are having a family outing soon the the AAA team in Jacksonville. The boys love their baseball. This is just so cute and very Patriotic in colors. After all what is more American than Baseball, Hot Dogs, Apple Pie....you sing the rest....lol
