I finally did it: Tried out Kittie's tutorials on framing and making multi-loop bows. I adore Kittie's work. If you want to know how to do the framing look here:
I would be very remiss if I didn't mention that the only way I really figured these techniques out was when AudreyAnn came over to my house this past weekend. I could not figure them out to save my life. She's so good at that kind of thing. So, HERE'S to KITTIE and AUDREYANN - They actually taught zee Fruitcake something!
I used one of my favorite SU sets - Touch of Kindness - colored the image with copics and then applied crystal effects for a nice shine. Used a coordinating looped ribbon, button and the MFT rolled rose diecuts which allowed me to use coordinating cardstock. Used a coule different leaf punches and diecuts and added my MS grass border punch at the bottom. I used dimensionals to lift up the frame over the image, added a sentment with ribbon, bling and paper pierced one of the panels.
Think that's about it. Thanks for taking a look. This is the only Mother's Day card I have left to do - now, onto the dreaded masculine Father's Day cards!
PT: At least 14 and the paper piercing.
