I'm in a Valentine card mood. I used the Spellbinder Fleur De Lis Pendant die to create the decorative background for my rose nosegay. I hope it looks like a rose to you. I wanted to make a red paper rose but didn't really have any floral punches or dies that would work. I pulled out my 1 1/4" and 1" circle punches and punched out several circles to see what I could do. I distressed the circles using a stylus on my mat to make the paper flexible enough to roll and wrap. I tightly rolled the first circle ( 1 inch) and kept adding circles to get the appearance of a rose. I finished with a 1 1/4" petal that wrapped pretty much all the around the rose so it would look closed. I attachedthe foliage and flower to the card front and added a multi loop red bow. This reminds me of the single rose corsages Mother made in the flower shop during Easter and Mother's Day. My blog: http://kittiekraft.typepad.com/kittiekraft/
Edited: I have added a rosebud tutorial on my blog if you would like to check it out. It is found here: http://kittiekraft.typepad.com/kitti...-tutorial.html

Wow! Every time I think that you just can't possibly come up with a new twist to your floral punch art, you stop the show with something like this. Amazing work, Kittie! Thanks for all of your wonderful inspiration.
