Congratulation's Sue (bensarmom) on being this weeks featured stamper. I loved looking through your beautiful gallery - amazing number of lovely creations. I cased this CAS beach scene of Sue's Card Ministry September 2010
I received my image from Kathy McDaniels (kathymcdaniels) earlier this year. Today was the perfect time to use it. (Thanks Kathy). I water coloured the image with Tombow and Stampin up markers. Sponged edges. Matted with burgundy and a soft blue. Sewed around image. Stamped the cheeseclosth backgrounder on kraft cardstock, using Vintage Sepia ink and clear embossed. Cut into three strips and layered over the textured white base card.
Enjoy your time in the spotlight, Sue. You are very deserving of this honor.
Hugs..Pat

What a perfectly wonderful card. LOVE it! I agree with that sentiment for sure! I don't live in a house by the sea but seeing as I live on this Island I have the ocean pretty close by wherever I go. Love how you've placed your main panel over the three panel stips and the outline stitching. Awesome coloring too! TFS. : )
