This family loved to spend their vacations out on the lake, so I thought this would have some special meaning for them. I used masking to create the moon and the horizon, along with the reflection technique. The row of smaller trees is from a retired SU set called Noble Deer. I find I often reach for this image when I create a scene. What doesn't show in the photo is the shimmer created on the moon & the center of the lake with mist spray. This will just be the first of many cards to get this family through this tragic, unexpected loss.

Beautiful scene in this card. Great combination of colors too. Never tried the reflection technique so I will have to look it up. Love the effect it gives on the lake.

Your card will touch her more than you will know. It is just striking. Inspiration comes from all around us and you sure put
alot of thought into this. She is lucky to have a friend like you around to help her through this difficult time.

What a beautiful scene. You did a wonderful job on this technique. Such a touching sympathy card and so personal - I'm sure it touched her heart greatly.
