Happy Tuesday everyone - time for another teapot challenge. This week we are sending our cards off to Connie Jo - one of our very own Splitcoast Stamper sister. She recently had knee surgery - we are hoping to send her some happy mail to help cheer her up. Here is the teapot challenge link and story.
Hugs.. Pat
This is also for this months Fan Club theme - in your footsteps. My older sister Valerie Raye has been a big inspiration in my life. She is an amazing quilter - and has been teaching me how to quilt over the past few years. She makes pieced quilts - will take a photograph and then design a quilt from the photo -- I tried to do this from the Teapot - Mothermark used for the teapot challenge.

Fabulous work, Patricia. I love that sort of quilt. Not saying the traditional blocked ones aren't beautiful, but designs like this are lovely - and perfect for your style with all that stitching. Love that picket fence keepingCurt and his companion in where they belong.

Pat, this is just beautiful - I adore your paper pieced scene - love those rolling green hills stitched like a quilt with a country house tucked in there - fabulous!

Oh Patricia, so that explains your ability to sew so well on your cards. Your sister is a quilter and is sharing her talent with you. How exciting! I love that you made this card with the idea of a quilt in mind. Your scene is darling big time. I love your cow, but then I love ALL cows. Your house and trees and fence all just make this card more perfect. Thanks so much for making this for my sis. She will love it!!! TFS :0).....makes me want to make a wall quilt from your card. hehe
