What's not to love about today's CC? Chocolate chip, wild wasabi and pool party! My "pool" has not yet arrived so soft sky subbed today. My dessert was lace.
Would you believe this card started out as a Christmas card? It's amazing how things morph on my craft table! I sponged the wasabi bg using a border die cut I have as a stencil, love the soft lacy look it gives. The corners are cut with a notch from the decorative label punch, soft sky panel is sponged in wasabi. The blossoms branch was inked in timber brown stazon and watercolored with cool carribbean and wild wasabi. Panel is sponged in pear, wasabi and soft sky. Lots of pearls #too many?# I'm not sure about the shot of vanilla on the bow either...what do you think? TFL!

I love, love, love, what your card morphed into ( I also think it's great when a card takes on a life entirely of its own). Too many pearls? - NO. I really like the ribbon and lace treatment, I think the vanilla on the bow softens it into the lace. This card has such a soft, peaceful feeling about it. Did I mention that I love it?

OK, my first question is "Can you actually have too many pearls on a card?" I suppose it could happen....certainly not too many on this! Love this colour combo - and I know all about things 'morphing' into something else as I get going on a project. This is very pretty. Great card.
