This 5 x 5 square card is for today's F4A72 challenge of summertime fun and uses Verve's sketch for the VLVJuly2011 challenge. Those ladies have some great sketches, check them out!
Verve's sailboat from the Text Objects set lends itself beautifully to paper piecing. I stamped first on real red, paper pieced and then colored the little flags with a signo gel pen. The scalloped squares were popped up on white embossed squares. I colored the word JOY in the sentiment with baja breeze and sponged a bit. The red heart is from the Verve set as well. Tiny heart is from the SU owl punch.
