Today's TeaPot party deals with Willy Waddum who has a reputation of catching 42,000 great fish. However, as you can see above, his skills have left him, and he needs HELP. Read more of the story here: MMTPT147 ~ BOOP! BOOP! WANNA WADDA WILLY'S CHEW? by Mothermark at Splitcoaststampers
This card is not going to do much to enhance his reputation, especially if he continues to catch fish of this size. I think his face tells it all...
The verse inside (stolen mmm...borrowed from somewhere) will not help:
An angler is a man who spends rainy days sitting around on the muddy banks of rivers doing nothing because his wife won't let him do it at home.
I used sketch #4 (May) for Verve - though most of the Verve cards are much classier than this one. I have some new Rubbernecker stamps and want to use them!
I hope I followed the sketch closely enough. I used the corners of nesties Labels4 to make the photo corners.
Our destination this week is Colton, a 10 year old battling cancer. I will have to send him a different one. more age appropriate.
I finally have managed this cheater thing, and now we will be on the road - won't be playing next week.
We will be heading to DH's fave fishing spot - he has a new toy - his brother gave him an underwater camera so now he can SEE the fish he is not catching LOL!

Oh Dorothy, your card is wonderful and your sense of humor is priceless. Thanks for sharing about the camera - made me laugh out loud. Good luck to your fisherman!

Cute card. The expression on your fisherman's face looks a lot like my father-in law's when we used to take him fishing. LOL Colton will get a chuckle out of this adorable card. Perfect design paper for your background.

What a cute image and sentiment. I love the string tied onto the card too. I also like the fishing line actually tied through the top of the card.....nice job! TFS!!!

What a fun image! THat is so true about fishing (at least for most men I know - for me it is about the fish). Fun card!
