This is for the third Teapotters Challenge I have participated in and what fun! This card is for Linda who is a friend of a fellow Teapotter who is going through some health challenges with herself and her husband. She loves cats so hopefully this will bring some cheer her way. Here's a link to the challenge Teapot Tuesday Destination Station - OLD INFO by Mothermark at Splitcoaststampers (post 204)
Stamped the footprints in Versamark in the middle of the card, added detail clear ep and heat set. Layered the striped DP as shown. Stamped the image and coloured with prismacolour pencils. Coloured the flower buds with a versamark pen, added detail clear ep and then heat set. Used a Nellie's die to cut out with CB. Distressed edges with my fav distressing inks.
This is my first attempt using the SB craft foil. (I was expecting it to be really thin but it's more like metallic paper. Wonderful to work with.) Used a SB die to cut out the butterfly from the foil. Added some alcohol ink to add some colour. Mounted main image on pop dots as well as the butterfly. Bent the wings up a bit and added 2 tiny crystals to the center of the butterfly (Hope they make the trip ok to Linda!) tfl

How fun! I saw the layout and loved how you flipped it here - it looks fantastic (even if someone's paw prints need to be cleaned up ;) Love that image, the papers and coloring. Fantastic card.

GORGEOUS!! Love all the luscious, rich purples with your adorable Kitty. Purples are a difficult color group for me to work, but you certainly are a master with these colors. Your metalic butterfly with the alcohol inks added is stunning. Beautiful, beautiful card.
