Today's Free for All challenge is to go "almost monochromatic" - one neutral and one color along with white or vanilla. I decided to try the faux flower press technique on this one and it was fun - remember the feeling you got when you first heat embossed and saw the powder bubble up into beautiful glossiness - well, it was fun to see how the pattern came out in lovely texture which isn't really captured too well in my photo! I punched flowers in two different sizes from cherry cobbler and glued them randomly on white cardstock, then embossed it with the square lattice folder. If anyone is interested here's the tutorial by Anne: Faux Pressed Flowers Tutorials at Splitcoaststampers
I computer generated this sentiment which I got off a quotes website and added a border, popping it up on frames. I set it slightly off the card so that more of the texture and pattern could be seen - and because I'm kind of into that at the moment! I added pearls to finish.

Bridget, this is fantastic! I love that faux pressed flowers technique. The panel popped outside of your card base looks very cool. And what a sweet ribbon!! Wonderful job on this challenge.
