This is my card for Katie. It was much better in my head, but I am overall pleased with it. Started with Fifth Ave Floral stamp, masked it and stamped/masked a bunch of times. Colored with Barely Banana, Summ Sun, Apricot Appeal, Marigold Morning. Then came the part I am not 100% happy about, adding the gold to the stamens.
I had an awesome gold marker back in the day, but of course I cannot find it for the life of me. So I bought a new one, and it ended up being WAY too thick to color this image. So I had to paint the gold on. Well I will keep my eye out for that marker next time I am in the craft store. I am kicking myself for losing it!
The sentiment was printed on my computer. It says "Always remember that the future comes one day at a time. - Dean Acheson"

Yeah, I hate when my craft supplies go missing just when I need them. That's why I have so many duplicates of things. But I sure do love the duplicates of your flowers. This is very elegant.

You succeeded in making a beautiful card regardless of finding your gold pen or not! It's very pretty and I'm sure that Katie will love it just as much as I do. TFS

Your gold marker must be hanging around with my gold marker. Maybe they're in da Mudder's fridge with her stuff. Your card turned out wonderfully - great job with the masking. Love your sentiment.
