You know that usually I am good at following the rules and almost always get to come in the front door, but today I couldn't help making this card even if it means I have to climb in through the window . It won't be the first time I've done it. And given that it's been a manic day and I was going to use the sneak peak, I'm doing well to arrive today at all, through a window or a door.
I know that when PB released their 12 Days of Christmas clear sets they used this for the French hen, although the clear stamps are a bit smaller than my wood one.
A2 black base. Matt layer is green Bazzill. Image layer; hen stamped three times + two masks. Masked them and the foreground and stamped the trees in Versafine Olympia Green. Painted the foreground with gesso for a bit of texture and sprinkled some glitter over. Coloured the trees and hens with re-inkers, added Glossy Accents to the beaks and wine glasses. Sponged the sky and sun. Computer generated sentiment.
Oh dear, I think those chicks have already had a glass or two; there seem to be a lot of chicken prints wandering aimlessly around, they even stumbled over my sentiment. .
I hope this will bring a smile to Vicki's SIL. I believe Cindy did say she liked wine!!
I can't think of anything better to bring along than some more red wine and French bread!! After all, if Cindy baked and iced 42,000 cookies something savoury might be a change.

Aw Sabrina... this is too much fun! LOVE, love, love your three French wine-and-bread-bearing hens! I'm going to come over and party with you! Wonderful scene you've created. Love the meandering chicken tracks!

Sabrina you know you had to use that stamp, it called out to you. That is the perfect card. A friend just sent me an Irish 12 days of Christmas on You Tube and it was hilarious. I was thinking of you while I was listening to it.

What an absolute hoot! Do your chicks have personality or what? You did a great job of creating this hillarious card! I know that everyone that's looked at this card has laughed, that is something to be proud of. Great job of bringing cheer! TFS

This is sooooooo funny! I love that you used this super cool stamp and did the three french hens (they look awfully masculine by the way)! The food and wine are great additions to the party - yum, yum. Cute card.

Gotta love those cool hens???? Well, they do look like they are having a splendid time indeed my dear Sabrina. Love that background. I love to admire scenes on cards and this one is soo funny. They even dipped on the sentiment, the little chick print. That is quite a detail. Thank you for sharing, and yes, this will surely put a smile on the "girls" faces.
