I've been using this set lately because I was told that I was using my new fave, (A Walk In The Woods), too much. Well...I think I'm using this one too much now! LOL Yesterday I took the day to work from home. It was bliss to be able to sit in comfort, on my BED and work. I wore my pjs all day and just plowed through 3 days of work in the MORNING! I even had a conference call with the web designer! It was so nice to just sit there in jammies discussing work. I might make Fridays PJ day at work...hmmm....I can just see the shipping department ladies in their bathropes...Well, that MAY NOT be the best idea. I'll have to keep on thinking about this! LOL However, I'm taking one more day to "work from home" so that I can get completely caught up. I really NEED to get certain things finished this weekend.
On to the card...The background snow flakes were stamped in VersaMark and embossed in a Glitter Embossing powder called: Snow Dust. Next, the bottom of the panel was masked off with a torn scrap. I sponge on Nick Bantock's Cerulean Azure for the sky. Since the ink is dye based, I was able to use a paper towel to RUB it off the snow flakes!
The buck was colored in with Copic Markers. It's super easy to color on Snow Storm Smooth, as I find it's the BEST paper to use with Copics.
The charm was pressed into a VersaMark Pad and embossed in Silver. (It was brass colored.)
Finished size: 4 1/4" x 5 1/2"

The contrast of the blue and white is so eyecatching. I love it.
