Tonite I babysat for my sweet grand daughter Olivia Lou, and came home to find my son in law trying to shoot a mouse under my refrigerator with his bee-bee gun. (sp???) is it really a bee-bee gun??? ANYWAY.....back out I went to our all night Kroeger for some mouse traps.....all night I'm gonna be picturing this little guy like he's as cute as a house mouse - like maybe he has found some cute little pose down stairs right now! Maybe he's painting a pansy, or playing the piano, or even all curled up in a cute winter hat.....and the poor little guy does not know his days are numbered.....his HOURS are numbered.....the dreaded TRAP. Okay, so in reality, he is NOT as cute as a house mouse and the only way I can sleep tonite is because my daughter told me mice can't climb stairs.....but what about tomorrow when I have to go DOWN the stairs to get ready for work and I'm the only one up, just me and Mr. Mouse......I am taking my trusty golden with me.....Luca will get em if the trap hasn't yet......man, I do not think I am gonna have sweet dreams tonite.....but then again, maybe he will hop on Luca's back and look all cute perched there and take a ride.....why do we think house mouses are so darn cute when real ones are very ugly????Anyway - you can see I am a bit distracted from my sketch tonite.....sweet dreams everyone, and I will sleep soundly, knowing now that mice don't climb stairs.....my daughter said so.......hope you like this card!! (Do you think it's true that mice don't climb stairs???)

Love your colors and textures on this lovely card. I had an episode with a mouse in the house as well. My husband put that sticky trap stuff all over the place. I came home one day and found this little mouse stuck to the tape but of course not dead. I ended up picking it up with tongs and then they stuck to the sticky stuff too, so I flung tongs and all over the back fence to the field behind our house. I am feeling your anxieties!!! Hope it turns out well for you!!

LOL that is tooo funny and I hate to tell you they can climb like no other!!! LOL my son 1 night pulled back the sheets and and a little mouse(SOOOO CUTE) was sitting there looking at him and then ran. Well hubby the next day saw him in my craft room up on a cord(way up on the wall) and then we put poison out!
I guess my son had a new room mate for awhile....LOL and didnt know it!!! hehehehehe we teased him about this for months, and he stopped sleeping in his bed. We went and bought him a queen size bed(he needed it anyways) Oh well!!!

WOW! This is GORGEOUS! I just love that you coloured your image and then ran the whole thing through the embossing folder. What a great look!
