I've had a busy week now that my kids are out of school for the summer!! We've been having a lot of fun and cardmaking just hasn't made it into my schedule. But today I needed to make a card to cheer a friend who has been feeling blue and this is what I came up with.
I haven't done any watercolor painting in quite a while and was itching to do some. I'm not completely satisfied with it. I know I could have done better, but had to press on. I picked up these felt flowers on clearance at ACMoore a few weeks ago and was thrilled to use them for the first time today! This is a somewhat large card--size is 5" x 7".

Great shading job Emily! I love those felt flowers with the brad centers too. And I think it is UBER cool that you used a red & green combo. and it is NOT a Christmas card!
