I LOVED today's Sketch Challenge! I didn't think I was going to get a chance to make a card today, but somehow I was able to work it in!
I think I found a new color combo I absolutely LOVE! Kiwi Kiss and Elegant Eggplant! Awesome~
While I was in NY last month I was able to spend a couple of hours crafting with a friend of mine, Patrice, who showed me a video of someone making pansies with Stampin' Up's! butterfly punch. I knew when I came back to OH that I had to give it a try! I couldn't find the exact video that she showed me, but I had found another site that showed me how to make them:
Can't wait to make some more cards using this technique!
Looks like I can add this card into the Teapot Tuesday Challenge, too! (Thanks Joanne!)
Since Darla the Dragonfly wants to show her daughter, Dingle Bell Berry, all the beautiful flowers and plants that our beautiful Earth has to offer... I thought Pansies were a must see!
(Is this the right way to do the Teapot Tues. Challenge? Sorry it's my first time for a Teapot Tuesday Challenge!)
Hope you like my card!

Oh my, butterflies turning into pansies - how lovely! The idea of it makes me think of those Escher drawings where fish turn into birds, but the butterfly/pansy is much prettier. Welcome to the tea-party.
