Replaced with edited photo after I drew in a blue border round the wood panel. p.s. - this is not one of the wedding cards .
I have to make two wedding cards for a work colleague of DH's who says she will pay twice what I normally charge to get a nice card, rather than buy a couple. That's going to take up my weekend, so I decided to combine the F4A challenge today to use our gel pens with the SNTODBD9 challenge to use something old, something new and something received.
Something old is my gel pens and acetate. The acetates must be a good ten years old, and my Sakura Glaze pens were my first ever online craft purchase about 6 or 7 years ago - the only shop that stocked them here at the time only had three colours. I used them to colour the dragonfly peel-off stickers stuck to thin acetate, and sprinkled some glitter over them while they were still wet.
New is both the Scripture Collection 1 and Vine Frames from ODBD.
Received are the wood (a birthday gift from Stamp Muse) and the silver gems (also a birthday gift from Dawn / flowergal36).
5 3/4" square base, stamped with Inspired by Nature in Versafine Olympia Green, with some little Primas added (yellow gel pen in the centres, and silver gems). The frame was stamped on the wood with the same green ink, and edges sponged in green. The verse was stamped with Brilliance Mediterranean Blue. I drew a border just in from the edges of the card with a dark blue Sakura Stardust pen. Looking at the card on screen, I think I should also draw a narrow border round the wood panel.

This is SOOOO amazing!! Love it in so many ways!! The grass is perfect, the dragonflies are truly a work of art down to the sprinkled glitter (which I love!), the flowers and pearls are just the right touch, and the sentiment says it all!! Love it!!
