I decided to do another card for today's TLC challenge since I had my vellum out. I used the SU embossing folder with roses and colored the vellum by using my PTI ink pads...they are a hybrid between pigment and dye...and Q-Tips as my "applicator". Seemed to work. I also embossed the bg and then swiped an ink pad over it.

Side note: I've had several PMs asking exactly how I did this. So here goes....it is pretty much like I said above. I used several Q-Tips in the process and used them in a pretty vertical position while applying the ink. I think the sucess of this technique is REALLY the VELLUM. It has "tooth" that grabs the ink, but the ink never really soaks in...as it would on regular cardstock. It makes blending very easy. I have NOT tried it on reg. cardstock, but I really think the ink would soak in and not be as "blendable". I appreciate all your comments and those who took the time to PM me.

Absolutely stunning, Sallie!! Wow--I just can't stop looking at your gorgeous card. It looks like this was time consuming, but I'd say that the results are worth it. Outstanding work!!
