This card is for two, that's right, two challenges. One is the F4A9 taking a virtual vacation and the other is QFTD06. Cathleen, aka ctorina, is our new Queen for today! Congrats Cathleen! Enjoy yourself.
For my virtual vaca I chose to go camping with my Rosco Dog. I am showing him all the wonderful stars up in the sky. hehe He's lovin it. Can you tell?
For the QFTD challenge, I chose to CASE this card of Cathleens. She has a wonderful gallery. I went all the way back to the beginning, hoping to find an easier card to case.
Things changed: tweaked layout a tad, changed image....day to night, ribbon and flower to a zipper and tab, and colors.
Used a Mo's Digi as my image, colored with copics, versa marked and clear ep'd. Cut out with a coluzzle sponging edges.
For the bg, I stamped the zipper with a new stamp I made. Made the tab by drawing one, tracing it twice, glued altogether and eb with gold ep. Stamped all the stars with whisper white and white ep'd. Reverse masked to do the sun, then masked the sun and sponged faded jeans for the night sky.
Put this altogether then put on a white card which I had sponged the edges with two colors and added the long doodles.
Again, Congrats Cathleen! Hope you like my case of your card......TFL :0)
Hi Sis! Let's go camping!

I think this is gorgeous, fantastic use of colour, and the theme is perfect, but have to tell you I am more of a Hilton girl... not that I don't appreciate the great outdoors but me and the bugs don't get a long, regardless of how wonderful the stars are.... fab card though!

Mutnik, what a dreamy star-lite card. I wanna be there sis! Cathy, you make the sweetest, most heart warming cards. I love this scene, and the zipper? Well, that just makes it! Cathleen already said it, (but I thought it first!) only you could make a zipper look like it belongs on a card. Love those Mutnik doodles, always the 'perfect' frame! Thank for sharing another card that should be part of a book! (hint, hint....) Hugs to you, Buttnik

Cathy, you are so full of creative ideas and each and every project is a joy to see. That zipper is so clever and I absolutely love the bright sky and stars and the darling image. This pops off the screen even in thumbnail size.

Awww Cathy, look at that happy camper. Couldn't catch me sleeping under the stars though. LOL Very well done, with the zipper, you are an original artist and funny and sweet too. TFS and for honouring our friend Cathleen.
