1) Today's color challenge, to use Bermuda Bay (or Taken with Teal), Basic Gray, and So Saffron, with the dessert option to use any color or pattern dp to make layered crushed flowers.
I just love this bird stamp I snagged from the $1 bin at Michael's! Perfect for paper piecing This card will be part of a set of bird notes I'm making as a hostess gift for my sister when the kids and I visit her in Ohio over April vacation. My sister plays the flute, so these musical-themed notes will suit her nicely.
Card measures 5" x 7".
Thanks for looking!
Emily
PS Thanks to Pam (aka Bailmac on SCS) for the great Taken with Teal DP!!

Emily, you put so much thought into this one card!! That $1 stamp looks like an SU bird, doesn't he? He definitely matches something they're offering right now, tho I can't remember what. And look at all those challenges you rolled into one...not to mention adding the musical notes for your musical SIL. Wow! I think she'll be tickled to have that set!

What pretty birdie you have there! I love your sketch and the lovely flowers too. I know your sister will just love this. Love what the circle does on your card, gets your eye right there in the middle. Love it.
