Hi! This card was made for today's Ways to Use it Challenge: Let's Play and also for today's Stampin' B's Challenge: Use a flower as the main image and a button.
Okay...I have to admit this straight up...I took over an hour to make this card...Way over...I actually made 3 different ones! I just didn't like them. Seriously...I have 2 cards from this morning in my "Card Gone Terribly Bad" box! Believe me, that box is WAY over filled! LOL
For the background on the focal panel, I used double faced tape to adhere mini dominos! (Yes, they hold. No, they are not very heavy.) Next, I stamped the sentiment in Noir Palette Hybrid Ink. It works because it is a hybrid. And, you can use a sanding block if you mess up! I sanded off that sentiment 3 times! LOL
Next, I decided to use this rose for the flower in the Stampin B's challenge. I know, it's big, but I wanted it to look "out of the box." I think that worked. Next, I didn't like how the base panel looked plain, even after I used the MS border punch. So, I stamped the flourish in Spring Roses for the "Spellbinders Look Alike Framing." (This flourish has more "layers of swirls, but you can just see the "top." Well, if you really look , you can see it through the holes left by the MS punch...Geez, I didn't even notice that until right now...Oh, well, I'm not changing this again! LOL)
The rose was sponged in with Paris Lights and Sun Flower.

Love this Faith! Makes me smile! My dad doesn't get around very well any more, and when we go home to Louisiana to visit, we play alot of Chicken-scratch dominoes together to pass the time! Several couples who are their friends come over and we play for hours. All those people are so special to me!

Love the way you tiled the background with those mini dominoes. Nobody does it better. Fabulous as always.
