This card was made for this week's Technique Lover's Challenge and the Color Challenge. The two challenges were a bit contradictory of one another, so I hope the challenge police can be understanding. I used an EK success corner punch to create the central medallion from a circle I had cut with my Coluzzo. I had this all done and then checked the color challenge to see what colors to use and the dessert option for today was to use our Nesties to create a border. I was not supposed to use my die cuts for the technique challenge, but just seperate the card into parts to make this all work.
Flowers were stamped with Basic Gray ink onto Crushed Curry CS. I used the marker to shade the petals and shaped the flowers and adhered them to the medallion. I added some punched ferns and popped up the center of the flowers.
Then I used Nesties Label six to cut a border for the Razzleberry DSP and the Always Artichoke layer. I added some gold half pearls, a ribbon and a gold heart button.
I always find that the Crushed Curry scans much more intense than it is in real life.
What do you think?

This a beautiful card. Had you used that punch in the medallion before or did you design it for the challenge? It's really lovely. I don't recognize it so I probably don't have that particular punch but I do have several and wonder how you went about creating it. Too bad EK Success doesn't name their punches. Thanks for sharing. Oh, and I LOVE the flowers!

I love the medallion, but I really love your technique on the flowers....
