I am so happy to have the opportunity to take part in round 2 of the CAS DT Search 'Olympics'! (I'm representing Team Great Britain!!)
This is my card for the challenge to 'be inspired by an Olympic winter sport with a slope in it'. This was such fun to make!
I used the St Patrick's Day idea of the leprechaun sliding down the sloped rainbow to a pot of gold, but changed a few bits to make it more Olympic-style.
The rainbow is in the Olympic ring colours and is made with layered oval nesties. The happy girl and the pot of gold are from Pink Cat Studio which I coloured using the Gamsol magic technique, cut out and mounted on 3D pads. I added red shimmer dots for the girl's hair-ties and dress buttons.
I used punched gold circles for the coins to represent gold medals, and copied a drawing of a maple leaf to stick on the pot instead of the shamrock.
Sentiment is SU's Sincere Salutations.
Thanks so much for stopping by to look!
