Howdy, ya'll! It's time for another Teapot Tuesday. MariLynn is our hostess with the mostest today, and she gave us a beautiful cardinal teapot as our inspiration as can be seen here:
We could use whatever we wanted from the teapot as our inspiration, which, as you can see from the Teapot Tuesday gallery, most of us went with the cardinal theme. However, MariLynn also wanted us to share something we are thankful for.
I'm thankful for many things in my life, especially my friends, including the many cyber friendships I have made through stamping. You won't find kinder, sweeter, giving people than stampers. Stampers have heart; they'll listen to you through good and bad; and they'll make you laugh.
This card is also for Betty's color challenge to use Always Real Chocolate, and for the Doubledog Dare Challenge issued by Anne (Itspassion) to use plaid and a button(s) in our design. I didn't have any plaid designer paper or ribbon in my stash, so I made my own dp with my plaid maker.
I hope you'll play in one or all of these challenges. Just be sure to use the following keywords:
MMTPT68 for Teapot Tuesday
CC245 for Color Challenge
DDC for the Doubledog Dare Challenge

Charlene, this is simply gorgeous. I love how you've given this a window effect.
You are so right about the SCS family and our cyber friends. I can attest to that from the cards my friend Sharon has received during her stay in rehab for orthopedic problems.

WOW!! You made that AMAZING plaid. Even with a plaidmaker I'm not so sure it's an easy thing to do!! I LOVE that RICH, RICH bark embossed chocolate paper and the gorgeous POP,POP,POP of red from your cardinal. What a wonder this is, Charlene. I checked in on the challenge and even accessed your pm and link but it mustn't have been posted yet and I didn't get back to my computer til 3:00 pm so sadly, I missed out this week again.
