Yup, I think this will have to be my last card for the FS135 challenge today starring Lori aka LMcAree. Not that I couldn't play longer in your great gallery, Lori, just gots other things to do and all! LOL
This is my version of Lori's card here: WSC42 by LMcAree at Splitcoaststampers. I loved her juxtapositioning the circle with squares, so I just added more squares.
Because this card is intended for a man, the husband of new dear friend, I replaced the ribbon with raffia. I used wood veneers, a fabulous wood grain paper from Gmund, another wood dp and just a little colored dp for interest. The image was colored with Prismacolors with a little gel pen for the eyes. The little charm says friends, because aren't dogs our best friends? Well, almost anyway.
The puppy image was a gift from jaydekay and the charm was a gift from Anne Ryan. Thanks Judy and Anne!
Have a great day everyone and thanks for taking a peek!

This is too sweet - I love it. I love how you used so many gifts on it too. Great job!

Okay M, speechless again!! Who could not fall in LOVE with this adorable puppy. You made it look so real like it would jump off the page. Your wood grained papers are impeccable. Girl, you can do no wrong and I LOVE that charm our darling Annie Jo gave you along with the raffia!! What a great card! TFS!

You, Sweet M'am are precious! This is tucked away in a box labeled "cards to keep forever". Love you.
