Hi! This card was made for today's Inspiration Challenge: Bonjour Mon Coussin. I chose this cushion.
Now, I have to admit, this pillow pretty much GRABBED me. I LOVE it! I HAVE it! LOL! It's on my bed...My friend, Laurence, (who was our exchange student 20 years ago), sent it, and several others to us as a gift! HOW COOL IS THAT???? So, since this is the pillow that one of the cats...Sorry...you may be eating. Anyway, the pillow is a bit wonky...So, I took a photo of it, and enlarged it in Print Master and printed it off on my INK jet printer. Next, I used my Prisma pencils and Odorless mineral spirits to add color and "touch up" areas that were mega pixelized!
The butterfly is a Shapeabilities die cut. I cut it, embossed it, and rubbed a Black ink pad across the embossing. Next, I used my Copic Airbrush system to color it in.

How cool that you have this pillow! And even cooler that you created the background digitally! Beautiful card!

Faith, this is wonderful. I love that you already had the pillow. I used this pillow as my inspiration too. It is funny how we could both look at the same pillow and come up with drastically different cards. I hope you have a great Mother's day tomorrow.

Gorgeous card, Faith! How amazing you had the actual pillow and how ingenious to enlarge and color the photo to make your background! Beautiful butterfly!
