This is for FS96 and we had annascreations' wonderful gallery to pick from. I loved ths Flaky Friends card by Anna Country Snowmen by annascreations at Splitcoaststampers and thought the layout would be fun since it is a little out of my box. I am trying out using a digital image for the first time and it is called Carolers by Squigglefly (www.squigglefly.com). I love this old Victorian style image. I sized the image to 2.5" x 2.75, copied and pasted several onto my cardstock and printed. I painted on set of carolers, wreath, and street light, painted and cut out to pop up on the main image layer. I added liquid applique around to trim the clothing and painted white craft ink on to put snow on the windows, fence, light, etc. This was a fun project.
I kept basically the same layout as Anna and had to change from a 5.5" x 4.25" card to 5.25" x 5.25". I changed the image and colors as well.
For mote details on this project chec k out my blog post.
