Hi! This card was made for today's Technique Lovers Challenge: Pop Up Cards!
As I sat at my desk trying to up load this card, I heard 3 different transformers blow in my neighborhood...Hopefully, I won't loose power! LOL!
Yesterday, Mark and Markie decided they wanted to make Bean Soup. They planned out the grocery list, came home and dumped 2 bags of dry beans in my crock pot and covered them with water. Speedy the Cat and I watched them do this, and I SWEAR, Speedy the Cat put his paw on my hand and tapped it several times. I laughed, gave him a pat and said, "Guys...Um....I think you put in way too many beans." My dear husband and Markie announced, TOGETHER, that the woman at the Winn Dixie told them to use 2 bags.
I looked at Speedy the Cat and said, "Well, I guess the woman at the Winn Dixie knows best!" and Speedy the Cat and I headed to my stamp room....Needless to say, the beans swelled up, and FELL OUT of the crock pot...I wonder, did the woman at the Winn Dixie work for the Bounty Paper Towel company? LOL!
So, in honor of the BROWN GOOEY mess, I decided to make a dirty snowman pop up card. It opens from the bottom. I used the Label One Nesties to make the diecuts. (Thank you DawnL!) I sponged around the snowman with Creamy Caramel. The snowflake is a Martha Stewart Punch!

I guess the Winn Dixie Lady thought you had a MUCH bigger pot. Somehow my daughter believed her grade 4 teacher had told the class that we have TAILS!! I was not telling her otherwise since I was not a TEACHER. We suggested TAILbone, but she would not be deterred. She is 27 and has a 6 yr. old; he's coming for the weekend--I'll have to ask him if he has a tail?!! After all that...Your 'dirty' snowman is PURE delight--I could even imagine HE has a tail with that bit of ribbon behind him!!! I'm sure Speedy is a big fan of them (hee, hee)!!

Hi Faith, I love what you've done with this challenge. I'm not sure yet if I like these new diecuts but you are certainly on the way to convince me. LOL
I love the dirty look of this card, the sponging is terrifice, love the branch arms, the shimmery ribbon piece, the snowflake and the dew drop. Still love all those dots.
