Love these way to use it challenges, they really make you think outside the box. I have had these Pearl Ex powders for awhile and though you could only use them with the "special" pigment pad. But today, I pulled out the cardboard that came with the Pearl Ex and "read" the instructions. Wow! I learned something! So, on my card today, the only ink I used was to stamp the main image, the rest is done with the pearl ex powders.....details......
Stamped my darling snowman on w/c paper and clear eb it. I have hesitated to use this image, because I saw the wonderful way flowergal36 colored hers and I was totally intimidated to try it. Since I was trying a new coloring technique, I went for it. Dawn, I hope I come close to doing as good as you did! So, to color him I mixed my pearl ex powders with gum Arabic and painted my image. Makes him really shiny don't you think? When done with the painting, I cut him out and set aside.
Made the bg panel by sponging my unseen snowy hills. I didn't realize how chubby this snowman was! LOL Anyway, the sponging was done by dabbing my sponge on a versa mark pad and then dipping it into the powder of choice and sponging using a torn paper as my stencil.
Stamped the tree with versa mark and pounced the green pearl ex powder on it. The clouds were sponged like the snowy hills only I used RR cloud stencil.
Doodled the edges with atyou Spica pen because it too is shiny. Put this on top of a white card that I sponged with the pearl ex powders. Popped up the snowman and that was pretty much it.....Hope you like it.......TFL :0)

Over the top fabulous!! But between what you and Dawn have done with this little guy, I think my image of him will sit in the drawer a bit longer while I practice ;-) Great card!!!
