For the life of me, I have no idea why this set has a love/hate relationship with stampers. It was the only set that I maybe wanted during the demo preorder.
So this is for a dear, dear friend who hates sock monkeys....haha.
The square portion IS the layout...and it is a card that opens up. The cocoa base is 4.25x5.5.
I look forward to reading your reason behind loving or hating this monkey. haha

I am so with you! I am not a fan of the monkey but everytime I see a card with it, it is adorable, just like yours! I loved how you made his face sad!! Great job!

Okay, so I'm not a fan of the sock monkey and am completely puzzled why there is such a fascination with him, but I have to admit that when I saw your card, I could help but to smile and laugh.
This card is perfect! LMBO

This is too funny! We were just having a "discussion" about Sock Monkey last night at stamp class, so I've emailed a copy of your card to the gals. Love your imagination!
Maybe this has something to do with our age? I remember my grandmother making sock monkeys, and I plan to make one for each of my 7 grandchildren for Christmas--along with a sock monkey Christmas card, of course. I also plan to write a story book for them, from the monkey's perspective, explaining how he was transformed from a pair of socks into a monkey and how this made him feel. I guess that's why I'm loving this stamp set. Fond memories, and no, I'm not going to tell my age.
