Thank you Rox for another great sketch to work with! Thank you also to Kim and Tracy for the inspiration!
I stamped the falling leaves bg stamp onto the dp in black, then went over parts of the leaves with a white gel pen.
For the skinny panel, I stamped single leaves on watercolor paper in Walnut Stain Distress Ink, then dampened a paintbrush and spread the ink randomly.
Thank you to Biggan for the inspiration on the knotty floss! See her great card here: SC185 Loneliness by Biggan at Splitcoaststampers
I used the Tombow watercolor technique on the main image and single colored leaves. Added some glitter glue on his shoes, her bow and the colored leaves.
Skinny panel and main image panel are raised up with double sided foam tape from a hardware store. I find that a lot cheaper than pop dots!
I scored a grid on the card base on the front of the card only. I don't think I'll use that idea on a card base, as it gave the card a lot of curve, that I could not get rid of! Live and learn.
All stamps by High Hopes Stamps, and are part of the current POTM for July.
TFL!

What a darling fall card...those little kids are so cute and your coloring is so nice. I like how you made your own DP...lot of work, but the end results speak for themselves. TFS!
