This card is for a sketch provided by Mothermark and I was thrilled to see it because IÂ’ve loved this layout of hers for a long time. In order to use these images, this card measures 5 by 7 inches.
ThatÂ’s not a misspelling in the title. Since fortune cookies are an invention of the Western World these are filled with pithy quotes from Oscar Wilde, one of my go-to-guys for wit and wisdom. This is what will appear when the little papers are tugged loose:
“Arguments are to be avoided; they are always vulgar and often convincing.”
“I am not young enough to know everything.”
“A poet can survive anything but a misprint.”
The inside script reads:
“The only thing to do with good advice is to pass it on.
It is never of any use to oneself.”
--Oscar Wilde

Your card is wonderful!!! I love the subject matter. The colors you used are perfect for this. I also love your fortunes and how you described them as coming form the Western World.
