My WT172 card using a bird image. In honor of Jacksonbelle being this weeks hostess I had to sew, distress and use more masculine colors. I love this style too!
Also I have been having fun this week using SU stamp sets that are going to be retiring on Aug. 11th.
I used vanilla thread to sew around the edge using the zigzag and straight stitches on my Janome Mini sewing machine. I distressed the edges with my cutting tool and sponged with Choc Chip.
I stamped merci on the DP, attached the ribbon and cutout bird, which I glazed with Crystal Effects. Love the effect.... My card is 5 1/4" square so I could show off more of the ret. designer paper.
Thanks Lindsey for a cool WT theme.......Nancy

Beautiful Nancy- love all the stitching. I got my machine out of storage but haven't attempted this technique yet- I'm kinda scared. Super colors, love the images and that yummy ribbon.
