Hi! This card was made for today's Inspiration challenge: National Scrapbooking Day. We were to make a card that was inspired by a scrapbook page.
I was really tired when I read the challenge and ended up falling asleep on the floor of my bedroom while dragging things out from under my bed...(Hey, doesn't EVERYONE keep completed scrapbooks under their beds???) That's right...I FELL asleep...I'm such a party pooper! LOL!
I woke up to the "Hiss and Growl" game played by Speedy the Cat and Spittie Kittie... And, since I was covered in fighting cat bodies, I figured it was time to get up and stamp! LOL!
So....I whipped out this mini scrapbook, (funny, I could have sworn I looked on my STAMPIN' Table FIRST! GEEZ!), that I made 2 weeks ago and decided to make a card based on the pages shown here: http://stampinwithmarkiesmom.blogspot.com/
The stamps are from Innovative Stamp Creations. I love this beautiful swirly flower! I applied marker directly to the stamp and then stamped onto Whisper White. Then, I added dots, and sponged the edges. (I also added Rhinestones to the centers of the flowers.)
A different image from ISC was stamped in Versa Mark and embossed in White. I added dots and rhinestones.
The sentiment was stamped in Basic Black onto Whisper White and daubered heavily.
The HodgePodge Hardware was colored with a Sharpie and then dots were added with an Inkssentions Gel Pen.

Faith, it is as beautiful as always. I was thinking just yesterday, how about creating a little travel album for our daughter for a short trip to Paris. I think I will copy some of your ideas and use a black background instead of a white one, I like it sooo much better! TFS!!!

No wonder you fell asleep on your floor, your mind is always buzzing with these gorgeous designs...that you knock out quicker than I can imagine, I might add (how are you always one of the first posts of the day for challenges??!!!). You are so rockin these colors lately! They look amazing with the black background, and white flowers...simply perfect!!

Faith, let me get this right., you coloured your hodge podge with a sharpie pen! I had my hands full of stazon just yesterday trying to color one. Duh! When life talks, I listen. Got that jotted down in my pretty little head now. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!. As for this "chef d'oeuvre"* again you made it so beautiful. The black makes the rest of all the other bright colors come out, the doodling expert is always in I can see. Wow flowers and Bravo Faith! You don't know how much I mean this THANKS FOR SHARING NOW!;)
