OK, I went all out on this one! This is my entry for today's color challenge, to use Sage Shadow, Orchid Opulenc and Craft. It also qualifies for TLC159, Faux Cloisonne.
I sponged Sage Shadow and Orchid Opulence on my bg. I made the flowers by stamping on a seed catalog with VersaMark and embossing in gold. I did not have a vase stamp so I free handed it also on a seed catalog, using an embossing pen, and embossed in gold. To make the "grasses" I just cut tiny little strips of my craft colored paper and curled some of it on my pencil. I got the original idea to add grasses to a floral bouquet from a tutorial I recently watched on the score pal and the man's stamp line, which included a wonderful vase. Unfortunately I have searched for ages and can't find the link to give him credit by name, but if anyone knows of it and can pm me, I'll be happy to add it here.
This was a great challenge for me. I feel like I have grown by leaps and bounds in the one short week I have been doing the challenges! Thanks to everyone who takes the time to leave such encouraging comments! It means a lot!
