At last I've used this Penny Black stamp! We have a lot of beautiful snow on the ground and trees, and it inspired this card for a good friend who lives in the woods.
I stamped the trees image in Going Gray on white cardstock and cut along the top line for the horizon. Then I layered it onto the bottom of a brayered background I found in my scrap bin made on glossy cardstock with SU's Late November spectrum pad.
Next, I stamped the trees image again on acetate using Palette Noir Black and lined it up over the previously gray-stamped tree bases.
Once I decided how big I wanted the image, I trimmed it down, layered it onto Basic Black cardstock and added the black brads. The trees panel was then mounted with dimensionals onto a 5 x 6 1/2 white card base made from Paper Trey Stampers Select.
It's hard to see in the photo, but for a little extra touch I used my Scor-Pal to add an embossed line 1/4 inch inside all four edges of the card front. I really love how images stamped on acetate have a 3-D look.

Now I know why they call this pad Late November! I've never seen it used like this and I must say, this is the best I've ever seen it look. The acetate overlay created an outstanding effect. This is truly stamping at its best! Beautiful, Linda!

Another example of perfection, Linda. You are so talented! I love those trees, the beautiful brayered sky and the cool scored edges. An absolutely jaw-dropping gorgeous card.
