This is a birthday card for a good friend's elderly and elegant mother, who is celebrating her 89th birthday today.
The Abundant Joy image is colored with SU! markers and a blender pen, then most of the flowers are covered with the clear Glaze pen for added dimension. The flower centers were colored with the red Glaze pen, to which I added a little DD glitter while still wet. I punched the image out with the SU! scallop circle punch, sponged the edges with Pretty in Pink ink, then pierced the scallops to coordinate with the Martha Stewart border punch. The flower panel is on dimensionals, layered onto Rose Red from a Marvy scallop circle punch and Pretty in Pink from a Nestabilities circle die. The Pretty in Pink layer is also on dimensionals.
The sentiment is stamped with Purely Pomegranate and then I quickly covered it with Iridescent Ice EP and heat embossed.
Along the top of the white panel I used my Scor-Pal to add an embossed line 1/8 inch from the edge to coordinate with the dry embossed scallops in the MS border punch.

Linda this is so beautiful. Your scallops are exactly perfectly symmetric. I love this border punch so much and have not been able to find it. Has it been discontinued? Do tell.. where did you get yours?

Wow! SO nice to see you stamping again, Linda! I'd been checking your gallery frequently looking for new posts, but I fully understand how a new puppy can monopolize your life for a while! Hope she's doing well!
Meanwhile, this card is just so lovely and elegant! You've reminded me to get out my Glaze Pens and use them again. (And enabling me to get tools I don't have yet!) I love the way you used the border punch and the dry embossing on the white CS- the whole thing has such a pretty and crisp, clean look. HB to your friend's mom- she's going to love this classy card! TFS!

This is a very elegant card for and elegant lady. Eighty nine years!! I know she will love this card. Gotta get that Martha punch! That's an excellent reminder for another use for that Score-it.

What can I say? The border, the script, the flowers -- oh, the flowers! Beautiful! Amazing! The flowers look like porcelain. For lack of a better word -- WOW!
