I had the most fun creating this flower panel.
-First I stamped and colored the image with Prismacolor pencils and mineral spirits.
-Masked off the flower with my trusty sticky note and inked distressed the edges then using the same distressing ink, balloon with rice inside I stamped it all over the card but kept it a light touch.
-Before the distressing ink could dry I stamped on the flourishes, then I heat embossed in white without rubbing the embossing bag over it so some powder will hang onto the distressing ink and give a hazy look to the background. Where I didnÂ’t want the haze I rubbed the bag over before stamping the flourish.
-It wasnÂ’t quite dark enough to show off the flourish so I ink distressed a bit more in those areas after embossing.
-The bottom beige layer is only stamped with the rice balloon and heat embossed on the edge.
-The brown strips and pink base are stamped with Brilliance white and ink distressed with the tea dye ink.
-Tool distressing is done with a Tonic paper perforator.
-The image panel sets up on foam.
