Was I surprised when the WT today was paint. As a folk artist that is right up my alley. I painted this little flower in the rosemaling style and named it after my dear German friend,,,Erika Fritz. I did many hours of painting for this dear lady when we were stationed at Bitburg AFB in Germany. The card base is a window card I normally use for cross stitch...started out white. I painted it with Accent acrylic #2477 real black. The rose is painted on lightweight watercolor paper that I distressed a little so it wouldn't look so stark. The grape accents were done with VersaMark and detail gold EP. When I did my oriental card yesterday I wanted to do something that reminded me of the years we lived in Germany. Today's challenge filled that bill. GREAT Challenge. TFL

Shoot, if I could paint like that I wouldn't need stamps. Great folk art piece. I hope she keeps it forever. (maybe send her a frame to go with it as a little hint!)
