I am excited to report that canvas embossed on SU Glossy CS makes a wonderful metal mesh! Rubbed with Cameo Coral reinker juice to make extra coppery. Aquaria stamp in Polymer clay baked on crumpled foil for shape. There are microbeads, fiber, beads and wire, too - But it's the metal mesh using canvas stamp I think you will like the best.

I think this card is beautiful. I don't have any glossy paper have you tried it on the ultra smooth white? Do think you could get the same look with colored card stock also?

Question from Stampinit: I don't have any glossy paper have you tried it on the ultra smooth white? Do think you could get the same look with colored card stock also?
In some ways, SU regular colors and white cardstock will be easier. Glossy and metallic finishes grab fingerprints almost as well as versamark. However, using reinker juice probably is a no-go. But then you have the color of the paper or you could use direct to paper techniques. Hmmmm... great idea!!!
Which leads to idea of not embossing - but using SU! Encore metallics brayered on to Canvas and stamping on window sheets/or acetate...A real clear metallic screen to put over any background. (Who is up for that?)
