I was enjoying this Faux Leather technique so much that I made a second card for this challenge. The leather has such a masculine feel to me that I went with this image from Noble Deer. The image was colored with colored pencils and gamosol. The faux leather is done with pieces of masking tape and craft ink and clear embossing powder. The NON CS did not match the leather well enough, so I used a makeup wedge to ink up the edges of a piece of white cs and then I sponged a little mellow moss ink to fill in any light areas.

THis is an awesome card. The faux leather looks so authentic and your coloring was beautiful. Eat your heart out, Hallmark! LOL!

*gasp*!!!!! this is incredible!!! I'm just a newbie with S.U., but a scrapper for a couple of years...i was looking to see what i could do with all my new "yummies" and whoa!! LOVE LOVE LOVE this card! Kudos!!! :-)
