Oh I am very pleased with how this came out, if I do say so myself. A while back I picked up these slates at AC Moore ckearance, they had cutesey toosey teddy bears painted on them. I thought to myself, one day I will alter these and stamp something wonderful on them. And today is the day!! I had painted several layers of making memories *shopping bag* color scrapbook paint on the slate, and I think the color works so well with todays challenge colors of chocolate chip, river rock and blue bayou. I have no idea what will happen to the colors when I modge podge this, I am afraid it may run... Any suggestions? I suppose I could leave it unlaquered.... Anyhow I used the sets wildflowers, and fantastic foliage, and the sentiment from fresh fruits. I will look through my ribbon stash for the perfect coordinating ribbon with a country feel. Thanks for looking and thanks for youe comments too!!!
