My husband and I watched Sea Biscuit the other night. Since I had received this horse image from Wannabcre8tive (Thanks Shirley!) I was inspired to make this card. This is my story:
1. Growing up, my Dad's horse was Dusty and my horse was Sassy. Sassy had a white star on her head and Dusty had a white blaze. You can see why this stamp makes me think of them. The other three horses are neighborhood horses and for purposes of this card, they are Sassy and Dusty's next of kin.
2. One aftermoon I was riding Sassy and my boyfriend (who is now my husband of 32 years) drove up. Dad asked me to ride down to the mailbox and get the newspaper. I talked Kenny into jumping on the back to go with me. On the way back while still on my horse, he decides to open up the newspaper and see if his name was mentioned in the highlights of the football game. Sassy heard that rustling on her backside and took off just like Sea Biscuit did when he heard the bell!
4. Needless to say, Kenny's never been back on the backside of a horse, says he will stick to motorcycles because they don't have a mind of their own!
5. I was thinkingÂ…..What was he thinking?

Shelf liner?!?!?!? How clever is that. I love that belt!! And the horses, way too cute as well as the story. Love the sentiment panel too with the grass and clouds....they're different than your normal clouds. Awesome too, you artist you!!!
