This is for CC116 to use Caribbean Blue, Garden Green and Chocolate Chip. I couldn't let the opportunity go by to use these colors to make a scene. I haven't done many lately and it just allows me to focus on nothing but what is going down on the watercolor paper. I stamped the frogs in black stazon and then and used a dry brush, running across the caribbean ink pad and then painted it all around the frogs to fill in color around all the small areas. I then used a pointed sponge dauber to apply the color on the outer water areas. I painted the frogs with a watercolor brush and reinker with water. I sponged some chocolate chip along the shore line of the pond and added garden green with my "never to retire mini fern stamp" to add green texture along the ground area. I sketched the trees with my artist pen and painted with chocolate reinker/ I used the fern stamp to create the leaves and then used a sponge dauber to fill in the green area of the trees. I added little branches in the leaves with my brown artist pen. I sponged caribbean in the sky area using my cloud template. I have to admit that I used a tiny bit of banana to the sky just to add a little light. I think these are the cutest swimming frogs.
Nothing reduces stress like a good scene.

Caribbean, garden green and chocolate chip. What else would you come up with besides a froggy pond? This is just perfect for you Kittie! I love your frolicking frogs and trees. The ribbon on the corner is the perfect embellishment!
