This is my card for today's sketch challenge.... This is my story.
1. I wanted to make sarahstampart a card today and this challenge worked perfectly. Sarah had to put Maggie (family dog) to sleep yesterday and is really struggling with that today.
2. I chose not to make a real cutsey little doggie card because Sarah has children who are taking this really hard and I thought that might be tough.
3. I finally got to use this awesome chipboard frame and flower that duckwaddlequack sent me in a little care package recently! Thanks Angie!
4. I so wish I had not sponged the smokey plum on the cuttlebugged part.....sometimes I should just leave well enough alone! Actually it looks worse in the picture than in real life....I am sure you are thinking....Ya, right!
5. If you would like to send Sarah a card, pm me for her address.
Happy Wednesday!

this is sooo beautiful, love the idea of putting the frame on the card. I also love the sponging on the cuttlebugged section and those brads in the circles - I need to use that embossing folder not sure if I have as yet.

A thoughtful gesture and a lovely card, and I don't know what you are complaining about. We are our own worst critics, aren't we! Cindy, this is just beautiful, and those of us who have struggled with the loss of beloved pets will feel right along with Sarah and her family. I'm sure they will cherish their memories and this card forever. It really is fabulous. TFS!

That is so pretty. I think the plum looks great. I think it just pulls all the colors of the flowers together. You are so sweet to make that for Sarah and she will love it. She will be able to look at her frame and remember Maggie as well as thinking of you and how kind you are. I know it must be a really sad time at her house right now.
