I saw this challenge early this morning, had this idea, and was stuck at the office until now! What torture!
The kimono is folded using Washi paper, which is MOSTLY red, black and gold. Just ignore the other colors in the paper so they do not disqualify me for the challenge. ;-)
The Double Happiness charm is from Custer's Last Stamp, and the coin on the obi (belt) is from a LSS in FL (okay, not so local to me.) The wooden thing is a piece of a bamboo skewer.
If I did this again, I think I would stamp a subtle background on the red c/s.
Please ignore the dirt on my scanner, and TFL!

This just leapt at me from the gallery. Fantastic! I love, love, love kimono and think they are such glorious works of art. As you might imagine, I felt bereft when I finish "Memoirs of a Geisha" -- one of my very favorite books. Your card is just stunning, and I'm definitely going to try to make one myself one of these days. Don't be surprised if you get a pm from me!

Wow! This one really jumped out of your gallery. I love all the color and that folding is amazing. I dont have the patience to try my own, so I'll just enjoy yours. ;) I like the little scroll on top of your charm. Really great touch!
