I've had this aged chipboard notebook for over a year now. (I bought it to tear the cover off of and use for something else!) I didn't want to throw it away b/c the paper is really cool - really yellow and old looking. So after TLC99 was posted this week, I went looking for it so I could make a new front for it. I started with some pretty heavy tagboard and then covered that with cardstock. The main image is popped up on dots. The notebook was just tied shut through the two holes. The original cover was hinged down the side but I couldn't make one that way. So I wrapped the hemp through in a way that makes it expand when you open it and when you close it, you just have to pull the ends a bit to tighten. Don't ask me how - I won't be able to explain it!!!!!
The Seaside Sketches image is watercolored on a piece of off-white shimmer cardstock. I did the tiny birds by hand. The little metal tag at the bottom says back to nature.

This is beautiful! I love the way you combined these two sets, really showing the versatility of Carte Postale (I think I needed some help with that so, thanks!). Lovely colors, too!
