I chose Hand-Painted Petites for the What Was I Thinking? challenge. This is one of the first sets I bought, and after 6 years I'm still stumped as to how to use it! For the embellishment I used a tag I bought a bunch of at a paper supply store and never use. I also used the plums, which I rarely reach for.

Hey Lisa! Great job! This is beautiful!
Someone wrote about the cute green staples (BTW, love how you used them.) and said, -all I have are the dull silver ones-. Well, grab your colored sharpies and brighten up those dull silver staples! Staples aren't my fav embellishment but they are fun to play around with in a pinch.

This WAS the first set I bought from SU!!! I don't think I ever have made a card with it.....I don't know why, I think it just has too many parts to it and is just sort of mind boggling! This card is very, very nice though....Maybe I will have to pull mine out....OR not......

I LOVE this Lisa! I was like you with this set, so I finally sold it! Now I wish I had it back so I could CASE your card! Great job with this set! Love the colors, too.

Hi. I have had this set for about as long as you have. I have copied some of the cards out of earlier catalogs. I did one as a "Thank you", one for "Mother's day". I used vellum over the flower once. I also used different leaves and added a ladybug from another set and did a "Thinking of You". Your colors are beautiful and I haven't done a windowpane before, But now I want to do that, too. I have also used the set for a "Sympathy" card as we had so many deaths in our church one year. One of my favorite things is to stamp something on typing paper, cut the images apart and move them around until I get a different style. Using lavendar lace and mellow moss gives a softer effect, but it can turn out real nice. But, yours has the evidence of spring!
