This is a layout for the SBTSC2007 challenge. I love love love this sketch! One of the challenge themes was to create a layout of New Year's Resolutions....but I've never liked the word "resolutions" because it makes me feel like I did something wrong the year before. So, I always make a list of New Year's Goals or New Year's Intentions instead. My list of Intentions usually includes less concrete things (such as "be okay with imperfection", or "embrace my creativity more often"), but my list of Goals includes things that I actually want to accomplish and can SEE that I have accomplished. These are my 2007 Goals:
1. get daycare licensed
2. learn how to sew
3. learn photography better
4. take wordworking class
5. get published
6. learn how to invest our $$
7. learn my Adobe Photoshop
8. take a vacation
9. be creative everyday
My "bling" is a bunch of gemstones and pink raindrop epoxy stickers. I love those little things!
Thanks for looking!

Love how you took the challenge and made it your own. I agree with the other posters and encourage you to submit this for publication! To me, your eyes closed imply you're dreaming of your goals and the wavy journaling is like your thoughts are ghost writing onto your page. WOW! Love the clear pink gems that curve around your journaling, they look kinda like bindi jewels and that paper continues the mideastern "flavor". Thanks so much for sharing.
